This policy explains how StatSolver handles information when you visit statsolver.it.com. The calculators process the values you enter in your browser, but our hosting, analytics, and advertising providers may process limited technical and usage data as described below.
Your probability values and calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser. StatSolver does not transmit those inputs to, or store them in, a StatSolver database.
The joint-distribution calculator can store your five most recent calculations in your browser's local storage so that you can restore them later. This information remains on your device unless you clear it. Use the Clear History button in Calculation History, or clear this site's data in your browser, to remove it.
StatSolver is hosted by Vercel. When you request a page, Vercel may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser or device information, requested URL, referrer, and request time. These records are separate from the values you enter into a calculator. For more information, see Vercel's Privacy Policy.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as page views, referrers, approximate country, device type, operating system, and browser. Vercel describes this product as cookie-free and designed not to collect or store information that directly identifies a visitor. We use these analytics to maintain and improve StatSolver, not to retarget visitors. See Vercel Web Analytics privacy information.
StatSolver uses Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and similar technologies to serve, personalize, measure, and report on ads. Advertising cookies can be used to select ads based on your visits to StatSolver and other websites. Ad requests may contact Google even when an ad is not ultimately displayed.
Google explains how it uses data on sites that use its services in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can control personalized advertising through Google's Ads Settings. You can also learn about choices offered by participating advertising companies at WebChoices. Disabling cookies may not remove ads, but it can make them less personalized.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, StatSolver uses a Google-certified consent message to request and record applicable advertising choices before personalized advertising is served. The message lets you consent, reject, or manage the listed purposes and advertising partners. You can also use your browser controls to block or delete cookies and local storage.
StatSolver does not offer user accounts, accept file uploads, process payments, or maintain a backend database of calculator inputs. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the contact email.
